Here are the first official images of the most powerful road-going Peugeot ever ahead of its Goodwood debut in production form this weekend. Shown as a concept at last year’s Paris show, the Peugeot RCZ R packs a 1.6 litre THP unit tuned to give a considerable 260 hp.
Reports mention a six-speed manual, a Torsen limited-slip diff, plus uprated suspension and brakes, which is about as good as news can get. The sole interior photo reveals sculptured bucket seats with ‘R’ emblems on the headrests, black leather and Alcantara with contrasting red stitching throughout. The centre stack is dressed in a classy piano black finish.
